A hydrogel membrane comprising a plurality of through-holes penetrating one surface and the other surface.
A method for producing a hydrogel having a plurality of through-holes penetrating one surface and the other surface, the method comprising:
- (a) injecting a sol into a container portion of a production apparatus including the container portion having a bottom surface portion and a side surface portion and a plurality of columnar jigs configured to be arranged in contact with the bottom surface portion;
- (b) arranging the plurality of columnar jigs to be in contact with the bottom surface portion before or after injecting the sol;
- (c) allowing the sol to stand and gelate to obtain a hydrogel;
- and
- (d) removing the plurality of columnar jigs to obtain a hydrogel having a plurality of through-holes penetrating one surface and the other surface.
