Wound-Dressing Conditioning Device

A wound-dressing conditioning device to condition a wound dressing, the device comprising:

• a treatment-fluid flow path having a treatment-fluid inlet configured to fluidly communicate with a treatment-fluid source, and a treatment-fluid outlet configured to fluidly communicate with the wound dressing;
• a waste-fluid flow path having a waste-fluid inlet configured to fluidly communicate with the wound dressing, and a waste-fluid outlet configured to fluidly communicate with a waste-fluid container;
• and
• a pump at or adjacent to the treatment-fluid flow path and the waste-fluid flow path, the pump having a treatment-fluid-application condition for which the pump is configured to pump treatment fluid from the treatment-fluid inlet to the treatment-fluid outlet, a waste-fluid-removal condition in which the pump is configured to pump waste fluid from the waste-fluid inlet to the waste-fluid outlet, and a negative-pressure condition in which the pump is configured to apply negative pressure to the wound dressing;
• the pump having a controller configured to control the treatment-fluid-application condition, and a monitor configured to monitor a volume of treatment fluid pumped to the treatment-fluid outlet during the treatment-fluid-application condition.
