Interbody cage device and methods of use

A spinal interbody fusion device, comprising:

• a cage with a top side, a bottom side, and at least two other sides;
• wherein the cage comprises at least a first opening, a second opening, a third opening, and a fourth opening;
• and
• wherein the first opening and the second opening each being configured for interfacing with fasteners;
• wherein the first opening is positioned on one side and the second opening is positioned on a different side;
• and,
• wherein the at least third opening and the fourth opening being configured for interfacing with an instrument to allow for spinal fusion using one or more surgical approaches.

A surgical method for the installation of a fusion device to stabilize at least two vertebrae having a top side, a bottom side, and at least two other sides;

• wherein the fusion device comprises at least a first opening, a second opening, a third opening, and a fourth opening;
• and
• wherein the first opening and the second opening are each configured for interfacing with fasteners;
• wherein the first opening is positioned on one side and the second opening is positioned on a different side;
• and,
• wherein the third opening and the fourth opening are each configured for interfacing with an instrument to allow for spinal fusion using one or more surgical approaches, the method comprising:
• positioning the fusion device within at least one opening in a patient to provide access to a space between two discs of a spine;
• positioning the fusion device within the space;
• and,
• installing at least one fastener in the fusion device.

A spinal interbody fusion device, comprising:

• a cage with a top side, a bottom side, and at least two other sides;
• wherein the cage comprises at least a first opening, a second opening, and a third opening;
• and
• wherein the first opening and the second opening are each configured for interfacing with fasteners;
• wherein the first opening is positioned on one side and the second opening is positioned on a different side;
• and,
• wherein the third opening is configured for interfacing with an instrument to allow for spinal fusion using one or more surgical approaches.
