Abstract
A medical system is described in which, the system includes a control device having processing circuitry configured to: receive positional information relating to the position of at least a part of a surgical robot; determine a boundary around the surgical robot based on the positional information; and control the generation of a haptic sensation at the boundary.

A medical system, the system comprising a control device having processing circuitry configured to:
- receive positional information relating to the position of at least a part of a surgical robot;
- determine a boundary around the surgical robot based on the positional information;
- and
- control the generation of a haptic sensation at the boundary.
