Battery Module with Double Fixing Structure and Manufacturing Method Thereof

A battery module having a double fixing structure, the battery module comprising:

• a plurality of battery cells formed to include a cathode, an anode, a separator, and an electrolyte;
• a module housing in which a space for accommodating the plurality of battery cells is formed;
• an upper cover disposed on an upper portion of the module housing and coupled to both end portions of the module housing;
• a front cover disposed on a front surface of the module housing;
• and
• a rear cover disposed on a rear surface of the module housing,
• wherein the end portion of the module housing is formed with a recess portion for accommodating an end portion of at least one of the upper cover, the front cover, and the rear cover, and
• wherein the end portion of at least one of the upper cover, the front cover and the rear cover is formed with an insertion portion inserted into the recess portion, so that the recess portion and the insertion portion are fitted to each other.
