Abstract
Methods and systems are disclosed herein for a media guidance application that distributes media guidance application operations between multiple devices based on one or more criteria associated with those devices. For example, the media guidance application may determine the plurality of operations performed by a target device and distribute the plurality of operations among devices near that target device.

A method for managing operations related to controlling gaming content being presented on a media equipment, the method comprising:
- detecting a device;
- in response to the detecting, retrieving information that identifies operations to control the gaming content presented on the media equipment only via the device;
- and
- causing to be instantiated the operations.
A system for managing operations related to controlling gaming content being presented on a media equipment, the system comprising:
- control circuitry configured to:
- detect a device;
- in response to detecting the device, retrieve information that identifies operations to control the gaming content presented on the media equipment only via the device;
- and
- cause to be instantiated the operations.
