Exterior jump-start battery terminal apparatus

An apparatus, comprising:

• a first terminal;
• a second terminal;
• a bracket having a first region aligned with the first terminal and a second region aligned with the second terminal, the first and second regions being spaced apart from the first terminal and the second terminal;
• and
• a post that extends from the bracket to partially surround the first terminal.

A system, comprising:

• a vehicle including:
• a windshield;
• a leaf screen positioned adjacent to the windshield;
• and
• a chamber having first and second terminals;
• a battery coupled to the chamber through the first and second terminals;
• a shield coupled to the leaf screen, the shield moveable between an open position to expose the first and the second terminals and a closed position to cover the chamber;
• and
• a post that partially surrounds at least one of the first terminal or the second terminal.
