Abstract
One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving, from at least one sensor associated with an information handling device, an indication to transmit an electrical pulse to a magnetic coupling integrated into the information handling device; transmitting, responsive to the receiving and using a pulse transmitter, the electrical pulse to the magnetic coupling; and affecting a function of the magnetic coupling based on the transmitted electrical pulse. Other aspects are described and claimed.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- receiving, from at least one sensor associated with an information handling device, an indication to transmit an electrical pulse to a magnetic coupling integrated into the information handling device;
- transmitting, responsive to the receiving and using a pulse transmitter, the electrical pulse to the magnetic coupling;
- and
- affecting a function of the magnetic coupling based on the transmitted electrical pulse.
An information handling device, comprising:
- at least one sensor;
- a processor;
- a memory device that stores instructions executable by the processor to:
- receive an indication to transmit an electrical pulse to a magnetic coupling integrated into the information handling device;
- transmit, responsive to the receiving, the electrical pulse to the magnetic coupling;
- and
- affect a function of the magnetic coupling based on the transmitted electrical pulse.
A product, comprising:
- a storage device that stores code, the code being executable by a processor and comprising:
- code that receives an indication to transmit an electrical pulse to a magnetic coupling;
- code that transmits, responsive to the code that receives, the electrical pulse to the magnetic coupling;
- and
- code that affects a function of the magnetic coupling based on the transmitted electrical pulse.
