A control method, applied to a mobile terminal, wherein the method comprises:

• obtaining a target instruction;
• and
• controlling, in response to the target instruction, the light-emitting component in the camera module to emit light;
• the target instruction being a first instruction for instructing a camera module to enter a target working state, or a second instruction for receiving a prompt message;
• wherein
• the camera module comprises a housing, a lens embedded on the housing, and at least one light-emitting component embedded on the housing;
• and the housing has at least one light-transmitting region, a light-emitting component corresponds to a light-transmitting region, and light emitted by the light-emitting component is transmitted from the light-transmitting region.
