A food grinding system with alternative power sources, including a food grinder, an electrical power source, and a manual power source mounted to or otherwise carried by a common base.
Claims20
An apparatus for a food grinding system having alternative power sources, comprising:
- a food grinder mounted on a base;
- a first power source being disposed on the base in a manner to connect to a drive shaft of the food grinder to power the food grinder;
- and
- a second power source being disposed on the base in a manner to alternately connect to the drive shaft of the food grinder to power the food grinder.

A food grinding system with alternative power sources, comprising:
- a food grinder mounted on a common base, the food grinder having a grinder drive shaft;
- an electrically operated power source being disposed on the common base in a manner to connect by chain or belt to the grinder drive shaft of the food grinder to provide power to the food grinder;
- and
- a manually operated power source being disposed on the common base in a manner to alternately connect by chain or belt to the grinder drive shaft of the food grinder to provide power to the food grinder.

A food grinding system having alternative power sources, comprising:
- a food grinder mounted on a base;
- an electric motor disposed on the base, the motor having a motor sprocket wheel being adapted to selectively connect to a drive shaft sprocket wheel on the food grinder by a multiple-linked chain to provide power to the food grinder;
- and
- a manual rotary system disposed on the base, the manual system having a manually operated sprocket wheel being adapted to selectively connect to the draft shaft sprocket wheel on the food grinder by a multiple-link chain to provide power to the food grinder when the electric motor is not connected to the food grinder.
