Abstract
A biosignal sensor includes a light sensor, a first polarizer configured to linearly polarize incident light emitted, and a second polarizer configured to linearly polarize light flowing into the light sensor. The biosignal sensor may include a light source that may emit light in a first direction and at least partially overlaps the first polarizer in the first direction, the light sensor at least partially overlapping the second polarizer in the first direction.
Claims31
A biosignal sensor, comprising:
- a light source,
- a light sensor,
- a first polarizer, the first polarizer being configured to linearly polarize light emitted from the light source, such that the biosignal sensor is configured to cause at least some of the light emitted from the light source to be linearly polarized by the first polarizer subsequent to being emitted from the light sensor, and
- a second polarizer, the second polarizer being configured to linearly polarize light received at the light sensor, such that the biosignal sensor is configured to cause at least some of the light received at the light sensor to be linearly polarized by the second polarizer prior to being received at the light sensor.

A biosignal sensor, comprising:
- a light sensor,
- a first polarizer, the first polarizer being configured to linearly polarize incident light, such that the biosignal sensor is configured to cause at least some of the incident light to be linearly polarized by the first polarizer, such that the first polarizer selectively transmits the linearly polarized incident light, and
- a second polarizer, the second polarizer being configured to linearly polarize light received at the light sensor, such that the biosignal sensor is configured to cause at least some of the light received at the light sensor to be linearly polarized by the second polarizer prior to being received at the light sensor,
- the first polarizer and the second polarizer each extending in a first direction, the first polarizer and the second polarizer adjacent to each other in the first direction, the second polarizer at least partially overlapping with the light sensor in a second direction that is different from the first direction.
