Management of spectrum emission requirements

A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communications system, the method comprising:

• receiving, from a base station, a first message including a first list, wherein the first list includes indicators indicating frequency bands and second lists, one of the indicators indicates one of the frequency bands, one of the second lists corresponds to one of the frequency bands, and each second list includes spectrum emission requirement values with respect to corresponding frequency band;
• determining whether the terminal supports a first frequency band listed first in the first list;
• selecting the first frequency band listed first in the first list and applying a first listed spectrum emission requirement value which the terminal supports among the spectrum emission requirement values included in a second list for the first frequency band, in case that the terminal supports the first frequency band listed first in the first list;
• and
• selecting a second frequency band listed first which the terminal supports among the frequency bands included in the first list and applying a first listed spectrum emission requirement value which the terminal supports among the spectrum emission requirement values included in a second list for the second frequency band, in case that the terminal does not support the first frequency band listed first in the first list.
