Abstract
A user equipment includes a reception unit configured to receive an instruction for packet duplication from a base station apparatus; a control unit configured to determine, based on the instruction for packet duplication, a primary RLC (Radio Link Control) and a plurality of secondary RLCs to be used with respect to packet duplication; and a communication unit configured to apply packet duplication to all or a part of the determined primary RLC and plurality of secondary RLCs and perform communication.

A user equipment comprising:
- a reception unit configured to receive an instruction for packet duplication from a base station apparatus;
- a control unit configured to determine, based on the instruction for packet duplication, a primary RLC (Radio Link Control) and a plurality of secondary RLCs to be used with respect to packet duplication;
- and
- a communication unit configured to apply packet duplication to all or a part of the determined primary RLC and plurality of secondary RLCs and perform communication.

A base station apparatus comprising:
- a transmission unit configured to transmit an instruction for packet duplication to a user equipment;
- and
- a communication unit configured to apply packet duplication to a primary RLC (Radio Link Control) and a plurality of secondary RLCs based on the instruction for packet duplication and perform communication, wherein
- the instruction for packet duplication includes information indicating the primary PLC and the plurality of secondary RLCs to be used with respect to packet duplication.
