Abstract
A method includes receiving a message indicative of a block of frames that were sent to the receiver. The method includes determining that a particular frame associated with the block of frames was not received. The method further includes sending a feedback message to a transmitter with a bitmap indicating that the particular frame was not received by the receiver. The method also includes receiving the particular frame from the transmitter.

A method, comprising:
- receiving a message indicative of a block of frames that were sent to the receiver;
- determining that a particular frame associated with the block of frames was not received;
- sending a feedback message to a transmitter with a bitmap indicating that the particular frame was not received by the receiver;
- and
- receiving the particular frame from the transmitter.
A transmitter for wireless communication with a receiver in a wireless network, the transmitter comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a processor coupled to the memory, the processor to perform or control performance of operations comprising:
- send wireless data to the receiver;
- receive a feedback message from the receiver with a bitmap that identifies a subset of the wireless data that the receiver failed to receive;
- construct retransmission wireless data that includes the subset of the wireless data in view of the bitmap;
- and
- send the retransmission wireless data to the receiver.
A receiver for wireless communication with a transmitter in a wireless network, the receiver comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a processor coupled to the memory, the processor to perform or control performance of operations comprising:
- receive a message indicative of a block of frames that were sent to the receiver;
- determine that a particular frame associated with the block of frames was not received;
- send a feedback message to the transmitter with a bitmap indicating that the particular frame was not received by the receiver;
- and
- receive the particular frame from the transmitter.
