Measurement gap management for ssb and csi-rs based rrm measurement

An apparatus, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to:
• receive a first information of a first gap for a first reference signal to be measured and a second information of a second gap for a second reference signal to be measured, wherein the first gap and the second gap overlap at least partially;
• and,
• determine at least one of:
• a first duration of a gap length based on a union of the first gap and the second gap, or
• a second duration of a gap length based on a selection of the first gap or the second gap corresponding to one of the first reference signal and the second reference signal.

A method, comprising:

• receiving, at a user equipment, a first information of a first gap for a first reference signal to be measured and a second information of a second gap for a second reference signal to be measured, wherein the first gap and the second gap overlap at least partially;
• and,
• determining at least one of:
• a first duration of a gap length based on a union of the first gap and the second gap, or
• a second duration of a gap length based on a selection of the first gap or the second gap corresponding to one of the first reference signal and the second reference signal.

An apparatus, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to:
• configure a first gap for a first reference signal to be measured and a second gap for a second reference signal to be measured, wherein the first gap and the second gap overlap at least partially;
• and,
• receive a measurement result of at least one of the first reference signal or the second reference signal, wherein the measurement result is based on measurement made based on at least one of:
• a first duration of a gap length based on a union of the first gap and the second gap, or
• a second duration of a gap length based on a selection of the first gap or the second gap corresponding to one of the first reference signal and the second reference signal.
