Display device and operating method thereof

A display device comprising:

• a display configured to display an execution screen of a calling application including a search source;
• and
• a controller configured to:
• receive an execution command of a context search application that provides a search result for the search source;
• display, on the display, one or more search source icons corresponding to one or more search source applications matched with the calling application according to the received execution command;
• when one of the one or more search source icons is selected, acquire the search result for the search source through a search source application corresponding to the selected icon;
• and
• display the acquired search result on the display,
• wherein the displayed one or more search source icons identifying the one or more search source applications are different according to the calling application being executed.
