Abstract
A method for a beam-specific operation between a base station (BS) and a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method comprises obtaining a configuration for at least one of a downlink (DL) reception or an uplink (UL) transmission, wherein the configuration comprises beam identifiers (IDs) and a slot and symbol configuration for respective ones of the one or more beam IDs. The method further includes performing, according to the configuration information, a DL operation or an UL operation.
Claims20
A user equipment (UE) comprising:
- a transceiver configured to communicate via a multi-beam operation with a base station;
- and
- a processor configured to:
- receive, via the transceiver, configuration information for at least one of a downlink (DL) reception or an uplink (UL) transmission, wherein the configuration comprises beam identifiers (IDs) and a slot and symbol configuration for respective ones of the one or more beam IDs, and
- control the transceiver to perform, according to the configuration information, a DL operation or an UL operation.
A base station (BS) comprising:
- a transceiver configured to communicate with at least one user equipment (UE) via a multi-beam operation;
- and
- a processor operably coupled to the transceiver, the processor configured to:
- transmit, via the transceiver, configuration information for at least one of a downlink (DL) reception or an uplink (UL) transmission, wherein the configuration comprises beam identifiers (IDs) and a slot and symbol configuration for respective ones of the one or more beam IDs, and
- control the transceiver to perform, according to the configuration information, a DL operation or an UL operation.
A method for a beam-specific operation between a base station (BS) and a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
