Distributed computer system for coordinating messaging and funding for healthcare expenses including funding via networked crowdsourcing

A method of managing funding of a healthcare procedure of a patient using a computer, comprising:

• providing the computer with a front-end server, a back-end server coupled to the front-end server, a healthcare provider system that is in communication with the back-end server, and a donor computer system that is in communication with the back-end server;
• receiving, through the front-end server, a request for the healthcare procedure, the request including patient information;
• obtaining healthcare provider information from the healthcare provider system;
• obtaining donor donation criteria from the donor computer system;
• coding at least one of the patient information, the healthcare provider information, and the donor donation criteria with a unique identifier;
• filtering the at least one of the patient information, the healthcare provider information, and the donor donation criteria with a unique identifier into a matched set;
• and
• providing funding which meets the donor donation criteria to the healthcare provider system.
