In-memory database service abstraction component

A method comprising:

• receiving an in-memory database lifecycle request, the in-memory database lifecycle request including one or more parameters;
• determining if a service plan exists for a service broker associated with the in-memory database lifecycle request;
• in response to a determination that service plan exists for a service broker associated with the in-memory database lifecycle request, determining if the one or more parameters meet one or more requirements specified in the service plan;
• in response to a determination that the one or more parameters do not meet one or more requirements specified in the service plan, translating the one or more parameters to meet the one or more requirements;
• forming an in-memory database resource having the translated one or more parameters;
• and
• sending the in-memory database resource to an in-memory database operator to perform an in-memory database lifecycle action using a container service.

A non-transitory machine-readable medium storing instructions which, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

• receiving an in-memory database lifecycle request, the in-memory database lifecycle request including one or more parameters;
• determining if a service plan exists for a service broker associated with the in-memory database lifecycle request;
• in response to a determination that service plan exists for a service broker associated with the in-memory database lifecycle request, determining if the one or more parameters meet one or more requirements specified in the service plan;
• in response to a determination that the one or more parameters do not meet one or more requirements specified in the service plan, translating the one or more parameters to meet the one or more requirements;
• forming an in-memory database resource having the translated one or more parameters;
• and
• sending the in-memory database resource to an in-memory database operator to perform an in-memory database lifecycle action using a container service.
