Apparatus and method of disbursing materials into a wellbore

A system, comprising:

• a piston assembly, comprising:
• a material chamber configured to store an oilfield material;
• a plurality of flow control devices configured to control a flow of the oilfield material into the material chamber;
• and
• a piston rod configured to push the oilfield material out of the material chamber;
• a plurality of sensors configured to measure one or more properties related to the piston assembly and the material chamber;
• and
• a control system communicatively coupled to the piston assembly, wherein the control system is configured to:
• open a first flow control device the plurality of flow control devices associated with an inlet of the material chamber;
• actuate the piston rod in a first direction to cause the oilfield material to fill the material chamber via the inlet;
• and
• monitor the one or more properties to determine whether a condition has been met;
• actuate the piston rod in second direction opposite the first direction to push the oilfield materials out of the material chamber via an outlet to a wellhead when the condition is met.

A system, comprising:

• a piston and dart assembly comprising:
• a material chamber comprising an inlet configured to receive an oilfield material and an outlet configured to output the oilfield material;
• a dart configured to pus the oilfield material out of the material chamber via the outlet;
• a plurality of flow control devices coupled to the material chamber;
• and
• a plurality of sensors configured to measure one or more properties related to the dart and the material chamber;
• and
• a control system communicatively coupled to the piston and dart assembly, wherein the control system is configured to:
• open a first flow control device the plurality of flow control devices associated with the inlet of the material chamber to fill the material chamber with the oilfield material;
• actuate the dart in a first direction away from the outlet to enable the oilfield material to fill the material chamber;
• monitor the one or more properties to determine whether a condition has been met;
• and
• inject a pressurize fluid into the material chamber to push the dart in second direction opposite the first direction to enable the oilfield material to be dispensed from the material chamber via the outlet to a wellhead when the condition is met.
