Abstract
A smartcard having a security controller, a fingerprint sensor, and an energy supply circuit configured to supply the security controller and the fingerprint sensor with energy, wherein the security controller and the fingerprint sensor are configured to communicate with one another by means of inductive coupling.

- a security controller;
- a fingerprint sensor;

- an energy supply circuit configured to supply the security controller and the fingerprint sensor with energy,
- wherein the security controller and the fingerprint sensor are configured to communicate with one another by means of inductive coupling.

- a first Coil-on-Module (COM) component having an antenna and an energy supply circuit;

- a second COM component having an antenna and a fingerprint sensor,
- wherein the energy supply circuit of the first COM component is configured to provide electrical energy by means of inductive coupling between the antenna of the first COM component and the antenna of the second COM component to the fingerprint sensor.
