Abstract
An apparatus may include first and second processors. A first user may be bound to the first processor such that processes of the first user execute on the first processor and do not execute on the second processor. A second user may be bound to the second processor such that processes of the second user execute on the second processor and do not execute on the first processor.

An apparatus comprising:
- a plurality of memories;
- at least one processor is configured to:
- allocate a first processor and a first subset of memories to a first zone;
- allocate a second processor and a second subset of memories to a second zone;
- execute a first application in the first zone;
- execute a second application in the second zone;
- determine that an amount of heat being produced by the first processor or the second processor exceeds a threshold;
- determine that the first processor and the second processor are physically adjacent;
- determine that the first application of the first zone and the second application of the second zone tend to execute simultaneously;
- and
- identify a third processor that is not adjacent to the first processor and the second processor;
- allocate the third processor and a third subset of memories to a third zone;
- and
- move the first application or the second application to the third processor.
