Provided herein are crystalline solid forms of squalamine phosphate designated as Form 1 and Form 2, compositions containing one or both forms, and methods of their preparation and of their use.

A method of treating a subject in need in need having a condition susceptible to treatment with an aminosterol, wherein the method comprises administering a therapeutically effective amount of:
- (a) a pharmaceutical composition comprising a solid form of squalamine phosphate designated as Form 1;
- (b) a pharmaceutical composition comprising a solid form of squalamine phosphate designated as Form 2;
- or
- (c) a pharmaceutical composition comprising a combination of a solid form of squalamine phosphate designated as Form 1 and a solid form of squalamine phosphate designated as Form 2.
