Portable negative-pressure medical/dental procedures and isolation chamber

A method of providing a selected treatment procedure to a treatment subject, said method comprising the steps of:

• providing a portable closed chamber connected to an High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) source, said chamber having substantially rigid clear side walls to permit vision thereinto by the treatment operator, and a plurality of sealed ports therein;
• said ports including sealed armholes for access thereinto, and with sealed gloves connected to said sealed armholes;
• said chamber further including at least one instrument hatch;
• substantially mateably disposing the chamber over the head, neck and upper thorax of the subject;
• engaging the HEPA air source to provide a negative pressure within the chamber;
• introducing into the chamber at least one treatment instrument for carrying out a selected treatment procedure;
• inserting at least one hand of a treatment operator into at least one of the sealed gloves to operate the treatment instrument;
• and
• gloveably carrying out the selected treatment procedure on the treatment subject via the sealed arm holes.
