Wireless beacon devices for use in managing transportation service terminals

A method comprising:

• detecting reception of a first user device identifier corresponding to a first user device via a first service provider device of a plurality of service provider devices associated with a first transportation terminal, wherein the first user identifier is received by the first service provider device via a first connection;
• detecting reception of the first user device identifier by a second service provider device of the plurality of service provider devices, wherein the first user device identifier is received by the second service provider device via a second connection, established after the first connection;
• and
• in response to the detecting the reception of the first user device identifier by the second service provider device, transmitting a message to a device associated with a first transportation service, wherein the message includes a first information corresponding to a user of the first user device.

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing program instructions, the program instructions when executed cause a machine to perform operations comprising:

• detecting reception of a first user device identifier corresponding to a first user device via a first service provider device of a plurality of service provider devices associated with a first transportation terminal, wherein the first user identifier is received by the first service provider device via a first connection;
• detecting reception of the first user device identifier by a second service provider device of the plurality of service provider devices, wherein the first user device identifier is received by the second service provider device via a second connection, established after the first connection;
• and
• in response to the detecting the reception of the first user device identifier by the second service provider device, transmitting a message to a device associated with a first transportation service, wherein the message includes a first information corresponding to a user of the first user device.
