Abstract
In accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a method of monitoring processing of traffic performed by a session management function (SMF). The method comprises, transmitting a measurement rule for a state of traffic processing to a user plane function (UPF); and receiving information on the state of the traffic processing from the UPF in response to the transmitted measurement rule.

A method of monitoring processing of traffic performed by a session management function (SMF), the method comprising:
- transmitting a measurement rule for a state of traffic processing to a user plane function (UPF);
- and
- receiving information on the state of the traffic processing from the UPF in response to the transmitted measurement rule.
A method of monitoring processing of traffic performed by a user plane function (UPF), the method comprising:
- receiving a measurement rule for a state of traffic processing from a session management function (SMF);
- measuring the state of the traffic processing based on the transmitted measurement rule;
- and
- transmitting a measurement result of the state of the traffic processing to the SMF.
