Abstract
A method of manufacturing an organic light-emitting device includes a heat treatment performed at a set or predetermined temperature range when forming a hole transport layer utilizing a solution process. When an emission layer is formed thereon utilizing a solution process, a mixed layer may be formed to a suitable thickness for improving hole injection into the emission layer. An organic light-emitting device may be manufactured utilizing the method.
Claims20
A method of manufacturing an organic light-emitting device, the method comprising:
- forming a first electrode;
- forming a hole transport layer on the first electrode;
- forming an emission layer on the hole transport layer;
- and
- forming a second electrode on the emission layer,
- wherein the forming of the hole transport layer comprises:
- coating a composition for forming the hole transport layer on the first electrode, the composition for forming the hole transport layer including a hole transport material and a first solvent, and
- heat-treating the composition for forming the hole transport layer at a temperature of about 185° C. to about 210° C. to remove the first solvent therefrom,
- wherein the forming of the emission layer comprises:
- coating a composition for forming the emission layer on the hole transport layer, the composition for forming the emission layer including a light-emitting material and a second solvent, and
- drying the composition for forming the emission layer to remove the second solvent therefrom, and
- wherein the organic light-emitting device comprises a mixed layer, in which the hole transport material and the light-emitting material are mixed together, between the hole transport layer and the emission layer.
