A display device includes a substrate, a first active pattern, a first gate electrode, a second active pattern, a second gate electrode, a first connecting pattern, and a second connecting pattern. The first connecting pattern is disposed on the second active pattern and is electrically connected to the first gate electrode, and the second connecting pattern is disposed on the first connecting pattern and is electrically connected to the first connecting pattern and the second active pattern.

A display device, comprising:
- a substrate;
- a first active pattern disposed on the substrate;
- a first gate electrode disposed on the first active pattern and constituting a first transistor together with the first active pattern;
- a second active pattern disposed on the first gate electrode and the second gate electrode;
- a second gate electrode disposed on the second active pattern and constituting a second transistor together with the second active pattern;
- a first connecting pattern disposed on the second active pattern and electrically connected to the first gate electrode;
- and
- a second connecting pattern disposed on the first connecting pattern and electrically connected to the first connecting pattern and the second active pattern.
