Cold chain in-transit exchange of perishable goods

A method for facilitating a cold chain in-transit exchange of perishable goods, the method comprising:

• storing, using a storage device, data associated with the perishable goods;
• receiving, by a management sub-system, an input comprising the data associated with the perishable goods, wherein the management sub-system comprises a processor and a memory and is coupled to the storage device;
• performing, by a management sub-system, a quality assessment utilizing the input during a transit period of the perishable goods;
• and
• determining whether the cold chain in-transit exchange of the perishable goods should occur based the quality assessment, and
• posting the perishable goods for subsequent sale in response to determining that the cold chain in-transit exchange of the perishable goods should occur.
