Identifying one or more acquisitions of interest using visual qualification

A method for selectively displaying acquired waveforms, comprising:

• displaying a plurality of acquired waveforms from a memory on a display;
• receiving a filter criteria from a user input;
• filtering the acquired waveforms from the memory based on the filter criteria to determine filtered waveforms;
• and
• causing the display to update and display only the filtered waveforms from the acquired waveforms.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media comprising instructions, which, when executed by one or more processors of a test and measurement instrument, cause the test and measurement instrument to:

• display a plurality of acquired waveforms from a memory;
• receive a filter criteria from a user input;
• filter the acquired waveforms from the memory based on the filter criteria to determine filtered waveforms;
• and
• update and display only the filtered waveforms from the acquired waveforms.
