Filter for Treating a Fluid in a Pipe, in Particular a Pipe of a Water Network, and Operating Method Thereof

A method of operation of a filter for treating a fluid in a piping, in particular of a water supply network, said filter comprising:

• a main body comprising at least one internal chamber;
• a filtering element for treating the fluid, said filtering element comprising at least one magnetic element housed at least partially in said chamber and adapted to intercept and trap the ferrous impurities that are present in the fluid to be treated,
• said method comprises the following steps:
• a) detecting the magnetic field generated by said at least one magnetic element through at least one magnetic detector associated with said main body;
• b) processing the information about the detected magnetic field, received from said at least one magnetic detector, by means of a control unit associated with said at least one magnetic detector;
• c) providing an indication about the quantity of impurities that have accumulated on the filtering element by means of said control unit.
