Abstract
This disclosure generally relates to a golf bag. The golf bag includes a protective layer which extends entirely along a length of the golf bag. The golf bag may further include a plurality of dividers which provide a plurality of separate individual cavities that selectively retain and capture a golf club. The golf bag may include a removable cap which also includes a protective layer.

A golf bag comprising:
- a protective layer disposed along an entirety of a length of the golf bag, and a base disposed at a bottom of the golf bag.
A golf bag, comprising:
- a protective layer disposed along an entirety of a length of the golf bag, the protective layer including a first width, a second width, and a third width, wherein the first width is wider than the second width and the third width, the second width is narrower than the first width and the third width, and the third width is narrower than the width of the first width but wider than the width of the second width.
