Abstract
Disclosed herein is a method of treating or preventing renal disease in a subject suffering from Alport Syndrome, as well a method of treating or preventing chronic kidney disease. The method comprises administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of human apolipoprotein M.

A method of treating or preventing chronic kidney disease in a subject comprising administering human apolipoprotein M in an amount effective to treat chronic kidney disease in the subject.
A method of treating or preventing renal disease in a subject suffering from Alport Syndrome comprising administering human apolipoprotein M to the subject in an amount effective to treat the renal disease in the subject.
Human apolipoprotein M for use in the treatment or prevention of chronic kidney disease, wherein the human apolipoprotein M is administered in an amount and with a dosage regime effective to treat the chronic kidney disease.
