Method for predicting arousal level and arousal level prediction apparatus

A method for predicting an arousal level used by a computer of an arousal level prediction apparatus that predicts an arousal level of a user, the method comprising:

• obtaining, by a processor of the computer, current biological information regarding the user detected by a sensor;
• calculating, by the processor, a current arousal level of the user based on the current biological information;
• obtaining, by the processor, current environment information indicating a current environment around the user, wherein the current environment information includes at least one of (i) an information piece indicating a current illumination around the user, (ii) an information piece indicating a current wind speed around the user, (iii) an information piece indicating a current CO2 concentration around the user, (iv) an information piece indicating a current vibration around the user, (v) an information piece indicating a current ambient temperature around the user, and (vi) an information piece indicating a current ambient temperature distribution around the user;
• predicting, by the processor, a future arousal level, which is an arousal level a certain period of time later, based on the current arousal level and the current environment information;
• and
• performing, by the processor, either of:
• issuing a notification to the user, or
• controlling a first device, based on the future arousal level.
