Holographic projection system and method for a vehicle

A system for a vehicle comprising:

• a projection device;
• a water mist generating device;
• and
• a controller in communication with the projection device and the water mist generating device, wherein the controller is configured to detect a signal of user proximity to the vehicle, and to activate the water mist generating device and the projection device based on the detected signal such that the projection device projects an image onto water mist.

A method for a vehicle comprising:

• detecting a signal of user proximity to the vehicle;
• activating a first water mist generating device provided on the vehicle to generate water mist based on the detected signal;
• and
• activating a first projection device provided on the vehicle to project an image onto the water mist.
