Abstract
Disclosed is a protective film, which includes: a protective film sheet; a protective layer; and a release layer, a lead tab is connected to an end part of the release layer, and a positioning mechanism is arranged on the protective layer to align the protective film sheet with a screen of an electronic device.

A protective film, comprising:
- a protective film sheet;
- a protective layer;
- and
- a release layer,
- wherein a lead tab is connected to an end part of the release layer, and a positioning mechanism is arranged on the protective layer to align the protective film sheet with a screen of an electronic device.

A method for peeling a release layer of a protective film, comprising:
- providing a positioning device, the positioning device being matched with a positioning mechanism to position the protective film;
- providing a peeling device, the peeling device peeling a lead tab from the protective film;
- and
- moving the peeling device relative to the protective film to peel the release layer from the protective film sheet.
