Abstract
There is provided a dosages form comprising rivaroxaban and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. The present invention also provides a stable capsule dosage form comprising rivaroxaban and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. The invention also relates to process of preparation of such compositions.

A capsule composition comprising rivaroxaban or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, ester, solvates, polymorphs thereof and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients.
A process for preparing capsule composition, wherein said process comprises the step of:
- a) sifting one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients to form powder blend;
- b) preparing the drug suspension by adding drug, binder and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients in a solvent;
- c) granulating the powder blend with drug suspension in high shear granulator to obtain granules;
- d) drying the granules followed by milling;
- e) optionally lubricating the granules and optionally adding one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients;
- and
- f) filling the granules in a capsule.
