Abstract
A device for outputting sound and a method therefor are provided. The sound output method includes predicting external sound to be received from an external environment, variably adjusting sound to be output from the device, based on the predicted external sound, and outputting the adjusted sound.

A device for outputting sound, the device comprising:
- a speaker configured to output the sound;
- a memory storing one or more instructions;
- and
- a processor configured to execute the one or more instructions,
- wherein the processor is configured to execute the one or more instructions to control the speaker to, predict external sound to be received from an external environment, variably adjust sound to be output from the speaker based on the predicted external sound, and output the adjusted sound.
