Abstract
The application provides a method, comprising: generating identifying information at an access point (AP), the identifying information including information relating to an energy detection (ED) threshold to be used for a channel in a wireless network; and broadcasting the identifying information via the channel.

A method comprising:
- generating identifying information at an access point (AP), the identifying information including information relating to an energy detection (ED) threshold to be used for a channel in a wireless network;
- and
- broadcasting the identifying information via the channel.
A method comprising:
- receiving identifying information generated at an access point (AP), the identifying information including information relating to an energy detection (ED) threshold to be used for a channel in a wireless network;
- and
- determining an ED threshold to be used for the channel based on the identifying information.
