Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for performing a random access (RA) procedure by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. In particular, the method includes transmitting a RA preamble and a payload to a network; and detecting a RA response message by monitoring the RA response message within a RA response window, wherein the RA response message includes an indicator indicating whether the payload is to be re-transmitted or not.

A method for performing a random access (RA) procedure by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- transmitting a RA preamble and a payload to a network;
- and
- detecting a RA response message by monitoring the RA response message within a RA response window,
- wherein the RA response message includes an indicator indicating whether the payload is to be re-transmitted or not.
A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the user equipment comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to the memory and configured to:
- transmit a random access (RA) preamble and a payload to a network;
- and
- detect a RA response message by monitoring the RA response message within a RA response window,
- wherein the RA response message includes an indicator indicating whether the payload is to be re-transmitted or not.
