Abstract
The present specification relates to a method and a device for determination related to enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA). For example, it may be inappropriate for a STA to perform uplink communication based on EDCA. In this case, an AP and/or the STA can disable an EDCA function or operation. The present specification proposes various examples of a determination criterion and a determination method related to EDCA disabling.
Claims14
A method for a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, the method comprising:
- receiving, by a station (STA), first control information related to an enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA)-disabling operation of the STA from an access point (AP);
- determining, by the STA, whether to disable an EDCA operation of the STA based on the first control information;
- and
- transmitting, by the STA, second control information related to the determination to the AP.
A station (STA) in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, the STA comprising:
- a memory to store a transmission signal and a reception signal;
- and
- a processor connected to the memory,
- wherein the processor
- receives first control information related to an enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA)-disabling operation of the STA from an access point (AP),
- determines whether to disable an EDCA operation of the STA based on the first control information, and
- transmits second control information related to the determination to the AP.
A method for a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, the method comprising:
- transmitting, by an access point (AP), first control information related to an enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA)-disabling operation of a station (STA) to the STA;
- receiving, by the AP, second control information corresponding to the first control information from the STA, the second control information comprising information about a result of determining, by the STA, whether to disable an EDCA operation of the STA based on the first control information.
