Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, information indicating a Layer 1 signal to interference plus noise ratio (L1-SINR) measurement capability of the UE. The UE may receive, from the base station, a reference signal carried on one or more resources based at least in part on the L1-SINR measurement capability. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Claims30
A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- transmitting, to a base station, information indicating a Layer 1 signal to interference plus noise ratio (L1-SINR) measurement capability of the UE;
- and
- receiving, from the base station, a reference signal carried on one or more resources based at least in part on the L1-SINR measurement capability.
A method of wireless communication performed by a base station, comprising:
- receiving, from a user equipment (UE), information indicating a Layer 1 signal to interference plus noise ratio (L1-SINR) measurement capability of the UE;
- and
- transmitting, to the UE, a reference signal carried on one or more resources based at least in part on the L1-SINR measurement capability.
A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors operatively coupled to the memory, the memory and the one or more processors configured to:
- transmit, to a base station, information indicating a Layer 1 signal to interference plus noise ratio (L1-SINR) measurement capability of the UE;
- and
- receive, from the base station, a reference signal carried on one or more resources based at least in part on the L1-SINR measurement capability.
A base station for wireless communication, comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors operatively coupled to the memory, the memory and the one or more processors configured to:
- receive, from a user equipment (UE), information indicating a Layer 1 signal to interference plus noise ratio (L1-SINR) measurement capability of the UE;
- and
- transmit, to the UE, a reference signal carried on one or more resources based at least in part on the L1-SINR measurement capability.
