Object tracking systems and methods

A method comprising:

• receiving, from one or more satellites, first satellite signals;
• causing the first satellite signals to be sent to a first tracking device;
• causing at least a portion of the first satellite signals to be stored on a local memory device;
• determining an intermediate location associated with the first tracking device, wherein one or more temporal variables are associated with the intermediate location;
• extracting the one or more temporal variable from the intermediate location;
• and
• determining a first location associated with the first tracking device based at least in part on the extracted data.

A system comprising a memory coupled to at least one processor, the at least one processor configured to:

• receive, from one or more satellites, first satellite signals;
• cause the first satellite signals to be sent to a first tracking device;
• cause at least a portion of the first satellite signals to be stored on a local memory device;
• determine an intermediate location associated with the first tracking device, wherein one or more temporal variables are associated with the intermediate location;
• extract the one or more temporal variable from the intermediate location;
• and
• determine a first location associated with the first tracking device based at least in part on the extracted data.
