Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a method for transferring data, in which a peripheral device and a central device are wirelessly connected in accordance with the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) standard and a data packet is transferred within a transfer window of a Bluetooth Low Energy data channel between the peripheral device and the central device.

A method for transferring data, the method comprising:
- controlling transfer of at least one data packet between a peripheral device and a central device wirelessly connected with each other using a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) standard;
- and
- transferring the at least one data packet within a transfer window of a BLE data channel between the peripheral device and the central device,
- wherein the transfer of the at least one data packet is managed by a first application installed in the peripheral device and by a second application installed in the central device in a hierarchic interaction such that a high-priority data packet is transferred with a shorter latency period than a low-priority data packet, and
- wherein the first and second applications are in a master-slave relation.

A motor vehicle, comprising:
- a peripheral device comprising a first application, wherein the peripheral device acts as a control device;
- and
- a central device comprising a second application,
- wherein the control device is configured to perform operations comprising:
- controlling transfer of at least one data packet between the peripheral device and the central device wirelessly connected with each other using a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) standard, and
- transferring the at least one data packet within a transfer window of a BILE data channel between the peripheral device and the central device,
- wherein the transfer of the at least one data packet is managed by the first application installed in the peripheral device and by the second application installed in the central device in a hierarchic interaction such that a high-priority data packet is transferred with a shorter latency period than a low-priority data packet, and
- wherein the first and second applications are in a master-slave relation.
