Abstract
Disclosed herein are systems for routing wireless communications. Some systems may include an apparatus comprising an enclosure configured to attach to an external portion of an aircraft and which may contain: a wireless communications device, and an antenna in communication with the wireless communications device and configured to send or receive signals to and/or from aircraft.
Claims23
An apparatus for routing wireless communications, the apparatus comprising:
- an enclosure configured to attach to an external portion of an aircraft, wherein the enclosure:
- comprises a first portion angled upward and a second portion angled downward;
- and
- contains:
- a wireless communications device, and
- an antenna in communication with the wireless communications device, the antenna being configured to:
- send or receive signals to or from the aircraft;
- send or receive signals above the aircraft;
- and
- send or receive signals below the aircraft.
