Photovoltaic apparatus and assembly

A photovoltaic assembly, comprising:

• one or more supporting beams, each of the one or more supporting beams comprising a supporting channel having a first surface;
• and
• a photovoltaic apparatus placed in the supporting channel of each of the one or more supporting beams, the photovoltaic apparatus comprising:
• a front sheet comprising a first portion and a second portion;
• a back sheet comprising a first portion, a second portion having a base end opposite to the first portion, and a first folded portion;
• one or more photovoltaic devices disposed between the first portion of the front sheet and the first portion of the back sheet, wherein each of the one or more photovoltaic devices includes an array of photovoltaic cells;
• and
• a busbar disposed between the first folded portion of the back sheet and the second portion of the back sheet.

A method of forming a photovoltaic assembly, comprising:

• placing a photovoltaic apparatus into a supporting channel of each of the one or more supporting beams, the supporting channel having a first surface,
• wherein the photovoltaic apparatus comprises:
• a front sheet comprising a first portion and a second portion;
• a back sheet comprising a first portion, a second portion having a base end opposite to the first portion, and a first folded portion;
• one or more photovoltaic devices disposed between the first portion of the front sheet and the first portion of the back sheet, wherein each of the one or more photovoltaic devices includes an array of photovoltaic cells;
• and
• a busbar disposed between the first folded portion of the back sheet and the second portion of the back sheet.

A photovoltaic assembly, comprising:

• one or more supporting beams, each of the one or more supporting beams comprising a supporting channel;
• and
• a photovoltaic apparatus placed in the supporting channel of each of the one or more supporting beams, the photovoltaic apparatus comprising:
• a front sheet comprising a first portion and a second portion having a first edge;
• a back sheet comprising a first portion, a second portion having a base end opposite to the first portion, and a first folded portion;
• one or more photovoltaic devices disposed between the first portion of the front sheet and the first portion of the back sheet, wherein each of the one or more photovoltaic devices includes an array of photovoltaic cells;
• and
• a busbar disposed between the second portion of the front sheet and the second portion of the back sheet.
