Display apparatus with array of light emitting diodes and method of manufacturing the same

A display, comprising:

• a carrier comprising a plurality of pads;
• an LED array located on the carrier and comprising:
• a first semiconductor layer;
• a plurality of active layers formed under the first semiconductor layer and spaced apart from each other;
• a plurality of second semi conductor layers respectively formed under each of the plurality of active layers;
• a plurality of first electrodes formed under the first semiconductor layer and electrically connected to the first semiconductor layers;
• a plurality of second electrodes respectively formed under and electrically connected to each of the plurality of second semiconductor layers;
• a bonding layer formed between the carrier and the LED array;
• and
• a plurality of wavelength conversion elements, separated from each other, and arranged on the LED array in a plurality of first positions corresponding to the plurality of active layers;
• and
• an opaque layer arranged on the LED array to separate the plurality of wavelength conversion elements from each other.
