System and method for facilitating secure self payment transactions of retail goods

A system comprising:

• a capturing device configured to scan and receive a unique code from a mobile device, the unique code corresponding to a transaction related to a plurality of items and identifying a type of payment, wherein the unique code corresponds to a purchase of the plurality of the items;
• communications circuitry communicatively responsive to the capturing device and configured to transmit, to a remote server, a query including the unique code and configured to receive a response including information to enable validation of the transaction;
• and
• a display coupled to the capturing device and configured to display an indication regarding a status of the transaction, wherein the system is configured to access a dynamically generated data feed based on information associated with the unique code.

A system comprising:

• a capturing device configured to scan and receive a unique code from a mobile device, the unique code corresponding to a transaction related to a plurality of items, wherein the unique code corresponds to a purchase of the plurality of the items;
• communications circuitry communicatively responsive to the capturing device and configured to:
• transmit, to a remote server, a query including the unique code,
• receive a response from the remote server that incudes information to enable validation of the transaction, and
• provide, via a display, an indication regarding a status of the transaction, wherein the server is configured to access a dynamically generated data feed based on information associated with the unique code.

A system comprising:

• a capturing device configured to scan and receive a unique code from a user's smartphone, the unique code corresponding to a transaction related to a plurality of items that were added to a cart, wherein the unique code corresponds to a purchase of the plurality of the items in the cart;
• communications circuitry configured to transmit, to a remote server, a query including the unique code and configured to receive a response from the remote server including information to enable validation of the transaction for the user;
• and
• a display coupled to the capturing device and configured to display an indication regarding a status of the transaction, wherein the server is configured to access a dynamically generated data feed based on information associated with the unique code.
