Abstract
A wearable device enables a user to switch the device to another state while the user is pointing a finger at an object at a distant position. A wearable camera that a user wears on a finger includes a release switch configured to switch to another state in response to an operation of the user, who is pointing an index finger at an object, with a thumb that is different from the index finger. Such switching of the release with the thumb enables the user to shoot an image of an object at a distant position.

A wearable device that a user wears on a finger, the wearable device comprising:
- a switch unit configured to switch to another state in response to an operation of the user, when a first finger is pointing at an object, with a second finger that is different from the first finger.
