Positioning apparatus, recording medium, and positioning method

A recording medium storing a positioning program, the positioning program, when being installed and executed by a computer, being configured to implement:

• causing the computer to detect that a movable object has moved from a first position to a second position;
• causing the computer to acquire at least first position data being data indicating the first position, second position data being data indicating the second position, and virtual moving direction data being data indicating a moving direction of the movable object having moved from the first position to the second position in a virtual space;
• and
• causing the computer to correct the virtual moving direction data so that the moving direction of the movable object in the virtual space follows a first direction being a direction connecting the first position and the second position by using the first position data and the second position data.

A positioning method comprising:

• detecting that a movable object has moved from a first position to a second position;
• acquiring at least first position data being data indicating the first position, second position data being data indicating the second position, and virtual moving direction data being data indicating a moving direction of the movable object having moved from the first position to the second position in a virtual space;
• and
• correcting the virtual moving direction data so that the moving direction of the movable object in the virtual space follows a first direction being a direction connecting the first position and the second position by using the first position data and the second position data.
